Meet Kim & Gabe
We value natural light, stunning landscapes, and candid moments, with a preference for weddings, elopements, engagements, maternity, and family sessions.
As a dedicated husband-and-wife duo based in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, we are committed to providing a seamless, white-glove experience for clients who expect nothing but the best. We work closely with our engaged couples to create memorable and personal images and films that capture your wedding day's essence and story. If you're a bride with high standards seeking a trusted, experienced wedding photographer and videographer- you've found the perfect team.
In addition to wedding photography, Kim and Gabe have a background in technology, experience design (UX), project management, and business strategy. You will see all of this come through in our time together. We are professional, organized, and place a lot of pride in making your experience a positive one. Our success is anchored in relationships, referrals, and a loyal clientele.
“I blend the authenticity of candid shots with the precision of posed photography”
OWNER + LEAD PHOTOGRAPHER | KIM KALLINGER
Our photography style is deeply rooted in storytelling, with a preference for candid emotion and the precision of fine art.
To me, it is all about your experience. I am obsessed with it. Instead of giving strict instructions and hard-to-hold poses, I offer general guidance and allow my couples to interpret it in their own way. For instance, instead of saying "look at each other and smile," I would say, "look at each other and think about the first time you met, what drew you to your partner? Reflect on that." Meanwhile, I am moving around you, composing my shoots, and taking pictures from different angles. I might ask you to walk, twirl, or dip. Movement can result in dynamic shots that feel spontaneous. If you are one of my engaged couples, I'll teach you my core poses during the engagement session, and we will practice before I even turn on the camera. You shouldn't feel too awkward. A common response from our Wild Bokeh clients is: "That wasn't as bad as I thought! It was actually fun!" Boom! Mission accomplished! When my couples say taking pictures was FUN, we have done our job well!

The Process
-
Dream it.
With Wild Bokeh, you don't just get a service but an experience that goes beyond conventional boundaries. During the consultation, I get to know you to understand what is important to you and how we can best serve your needs. We put a lot of thought into your experience so that you remember the moment and not the lens.
-
Get excited.
Once you sign the contract and pay the creative fee, we will schedule a planning session. I absolutely love crafting magical moments for my clients. Bring your vision or collaborate with me to create one. After our planning call, I will follow up with a mood board, guides, and a custom photography timeline.
-
Enjoy it.
Within 24 hours of your session, we share sneak peeks and within a few weeks, we will email you a link to your online gallery where you can download high-resolution edited digital images. We will reach out after you receive your gallery to make sure you are happy and offer assistance to order prints, books, and cards from my print shop.
What People Are Saying
FIVE-STAR REVIEWS
“Kim put so much time and effort and talked to me throughout the process. It was so nice to actually have someone genuinely be there and someone who touched base with us. The day finally arrived for us and I cant explain enough how awesome she did! She was so fun and creative with her ideas and if we threw anything her way she would just say, “Let’s do it!. She made my fiance actually smile and have fun with it cause he was so nervous to do these photos. I an express enough our gratitude and even when it was all said and done she informed us of every step afterward and was super thorough on getting us our photos back. They are absolutely stunning and she made all of our visions come to life.”
