Bridal Details Made Easy: What to Have Ready for Your Photographer
One of my favorite parts of the wedding day to photograph is the bridal details—those little things you’ve picked out with so much love that help tell the story of your day. Think: your dress, the rings, your perfume, your invitation suite… even your something borrowed or something blue. It all adds up to a beautiful snapshot of your style and the meaning behind it all. To make sure nothing gets forgotten in the rush of the morning, I’ve put together a simple checklist of everything you might want to have ready for me when I arrive.
Where does this fit in my timeline?
Bridal detail photos usually happen first thing when I arrive on your wedding day—before you get into your dress and while hair and makeup are wrapping up. I typically set aside about 45 minutes just for these shots, and it really helps when everything is gathered in one place ahead of time. That way, I can jump right in and create beautiful, styled flat lays without needing to track things down. If your florist is able to deliver the bouquet early, or send a few loose blooms and greenery, that adds an extra layer of magic to the photos too!
