About the Wedding…

The couple chose to hold the wedding and reception at the Huntley Lodge in Cle Elum, Washington. This is a beautiful wedding venue that is perched above the scenic Teanaway Valley, and a mere 90-minute drive from Seattle, Huntley Lodge offers breathtaking views of lush meadows, rolling hills, and majestic mountains. This ranch-style property is an idyllic setting for an outdoor wedding. With four duplexes and a spacious main lodge, the estate comfortably accommodates the wedding party and family.

The gallery you see here is a testament to that unforgettable day. Every image, each moment frozen in time, bears my signature - from the meticulous composition to the delicate play of light and shadow.

I consider myself fortunate to have been a part of such a beautiful occasion, having the opportunity to create a visual anthology that the couple could revisit and relive for years to come. Every photograph in this blog post is a testament to their love, and I am proud to say they were all captured and edited by myself. Want to see more? Contact me to see a full wedding gallery.

The Decor

The couple's vision came alive thanks to the collective efforts of their friends and family. Everyone had a role to play. With the bride's best friend taking charge as the coordinator, she ensured everyone stayed on task, transforming the space beautifully. Teamwork truly made the dream work!

The First Look…

The bride and groom shared their first look and exchanged private vows in a serene forested meadow on the property. Every ounce of their profound love shines through in the photos. If you're contemplating a first look for your own wedding, let these images be a testament. First looks don't diminish the magic; they provide a space for couples to freely express their emotions without the weight of many eyes upon them.

The Party and Food…

The catering was done by a local favorite Chef Teri Yardley who is the head chef at Orchard Restaurant, a farm-to-table from-scratch kitchen located in Cle Elum, WA. She studied at Le Cordon Bleu in Austin Texas. Chef’s experience in fine dining includes work with Top Chef Andrew Curren and Preeti Agarwal as Chef de Cuisine of the critically acclaimed restaurant Meesha in Fremont Seattle.

The bride and two of her friends own a Wine Pop start-up called Three’s Co Pops. With a passion for good wine and good times, these three convinced me to break my rule of not drinking while on the job. The pops combine local ingredients and Washington wines together and I could not turn down the perfect summertime treat.
