Wedding at Morning Glory Farm

Favorite Stills
This Idaho farm wedding featured a family-led ceremony, lush wildflower bouquets, and dreamy golden hour portraits on the Palouse hills. Madeleine and Michael’s wedding at Morning Glory Farm near Kendrick, Idaho, was romantic, joyful, and framed by the timeless beauty of the Palouse.
I first met Madeleine and Michael at the Spokane Bridal Fair, where they were immediately drawn to my signature style of bridal portraits set against sweeping landscapes.

Wedding Venue
Morning Glory Farm is a historic, working farmstead set on nearly 400 acres. The original 1908 farmhouse was featured on the Magnolia Network, and is perfectly decorated and full of character. But beyond the beauty of the venue, what made their day so special was the role family played in every detail. Madeleine’s grandpa officiated the ceremony, while her mom crafted the florals. Using a rich palette of burnt orange, champagne pink, deep red, blue, and greenery, she designed bouquets that were both timeless and vibrant—tied together with wildflowers for a touch of whimsy. The bridesmaids wore mismatched dresses pulled from the same palette, which gave the bridal party a cohesive yet organic look.
Golden Hour in the Palouse
I took Madeleine and Michael to the top of a hill overlooking the rolling Palouse landscape for golden hour portraits. Although wildfire smoke kept us from seeing a true sunset, we created something even more magical. The soft haze, Madeleine’s lace cathedral-length veil, and the wide-open view of the rolling golden hills came together in portraits that felt cinematic and deeply romantic.
Wedding Day Timeline
Since Madeleine and Michael didn’t hire a wedding planner, I worked closely with them to build a timeline that flowed smoothly. I also attended the ceremony rehearsal to offer guidance on the little things that make a big difference—like reminding the officiant to step aside during the first kiss.
If you’ve made it this far, you love Madeleine and Michael’s wedding as much as I do! This is just a small look at their day. The best way to know if I am the right fit is to chat with me and view a full gallery!
