June Micro Wedding at Heyburn State Park in Idaho
State Parks are often overlooked when couples are searching for wedding venues. However, Heyburn State Park, tucked away on the southern shores of Lake Coeur d’Alene, was the perfect choice for Brittney and Brad’s micro wedding last June. Towering Ponderosa pines provided a serene canopy, offering welcome shade as the midday sun filtered through in soft, golden rays.
Even better, the bride’s favorite flower—the forget-me-not—grew wild throughout the meadows, adding a whimsical pop of color to the natural landscape and giving a sweet personal touch to the day’s festivities.

With just family and a few close friends, the bride and groom opted to hire Wild Bokeh for photography and videography for 5 hours of coverage. Since the ceremony and reception were in the same location, we were able to cover getting ready through the sparkler exit!
