Love has a way of finding us, often when we least expect it. Jillian and Ryan’s story is a beautiful testament to this truth, one that reminds us of the power of faith and the enduring nature of love. Their wedding day on July 6, 2024, at St Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church in Post Falls, Idaho, was a celebration not just of their union, but of the incredible journey that brought them back together.
A Journey Back to Love
Jillian and Ryan first met many years ago, their paths crossing in a way that left a lasting impact on both of them. However, life took them in different directions, and they eventually lost touch. Ryan went on to marry and had children, living a full life with his family. But when his wife passed away, Ryan found himself facing a future he never imagined.
God had other plans. Ryan and Jillian reconnected on Facebook, and what began as a simple reconnection quickly blossomed into something more. Ryan, a publisher with a deep love for words, found a kindred spirit in Jillian, who shares his passion for books. As their conversations grew deeper they realized that they shared much more than their love for books. They are both deeply rooted in faith and strong family values.
Jillian made the brave decision to move from Ohio to Idaho, to see if what they felt was real. And indeed, it was. Their story, rekindled after years apart, is a reminder that god has a plan.

The Wedding Day
Their wedding day was nothing short of magical. The ceremony took place at the beautiful St Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church in Post Falls, where they were surrounded by family, friends, and the warm embrace of love and support. The nuptial mass was one of the most beautiful I have ever witnessed, a true celebration of their faith and love.
For those who couldn’t be there in person, my team and I made sure that Jillian’s family in Ohio didn’t miss a single moment. We recorded the full nuptial mass and posted it on my YouTube channel, where it has already received 10,000 views—a testament to the love and support that surrounds this couple.
But the magic didn’t stop there. We also produced a highlight video that captured the essence of the day—from the touching religious performances to the heartfelt toasts and, of course, our stunning sunset portraits on Lake Coeur d’Alene. Each moment was filled with emotion, joy, and the palpable sense that this love story was meant to be.
The Reception
The celebration continued at The Coeur d'Alene Resort in the Bay Rooms, where the wedding reception was held. Driftwood Point Events handled all of the planning, and the day was absolutely flawless—something that’s often hard to say about a wedding day. Thanks to Driftwood's impeccable attention to detail and seamless coordination, Jillian and Ryan were able to fully enjoy every moment of their special day. They were truly made to feel like guests at their own wedding, savoring each minute without a care in the world.
A New Chapter
Jillian and Ryan’s wedding was more than just a celebration of their union; it was the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. A chapter filled with love, hope, and the promise of a future together. It was an honor to document their day and to witness the love that has brought them to this moment.
