Favorite Stills

Sharamae and Mario’s wedding was an intimate celebration with around 50 of their closest friends and family at The Jacklin Arts & Cultural Center in Post Falls, Idaho. They chose 6 hours of photography coverage, which is tight even for a small wedding, and requires some trade-offs. With a condensed timeline, they decided to forgo romantic bride and groom portraits to ensure that we could capture all the important moments of their day. We focused on the bridal details, getting ready, their emotional first look, the ceremony, family formals, and the bridal party, as well as some of the reception. Despite the shorter coverage, their day was beautifully captured, with all the essential moments preserved.

Love Across State Lines

On August 23, 2024, I had the honor of capturing the wedding of Sharamae and Mario, a couple whose love story spanned across state lines. Sharamae, from Oregon, and Mario, from Idaho, spent their dating era navigating a long-distance relationship. They knew their connection was special from the start. After Mario’s heartfelt proposal, they quickly booked their perfect venue, The Jacklin Arts & Cultural Center in Post Falls, Idaho.

What made this wedding extra special to me was a personal connection. Sharamae and I share the same hairstylist, Emma DiVittore from Studio Cultive in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Emma, who is also a past client of mine, was the one who referred Sharamae to me, and I’m so grateful for that introduction.

The First Look

Before the ceremony, they chose to have a first look and exchange private vows—a moment I always cherish capturing. It’s a beautiful way for couples to step away from the whirlwind of the day and focus solely on each other. As they saw each other for the first time, the rush of emotions was tangible, and time seemed to stand still for just a moment.

The Ceremony and Reception

After their first look, Sharamae and Mario held a small, heartfelt ceremony and reception, surrounded by their closest friends and family. It was a day filled with joy, laughter, and the joining of two families.

From the charming venue to the deeply personal moments they shared, this wedding was a true reflection of Sharamae and Mario’s story and I am excited to see what comes next for them.
